Construction Laborer

Do you take pride in the work you produce? Are you hungry to learn new skills? We are a small general contractor company based in Yamhill County.
We are focused on doing new residential construction and major residential remodels, typically fully gutted interiors that we build back up.
We do most of our work in-house and usually have 1 project we focus on for several months at a time.
As a result, you'll be exposed to the whole range of construction demolition/clean up, dirt work, concrete, framing, siding, painting, tiling, flooring & finish woodwork.
If you have previous experience in one or more of these fields, great, but recognize that you'll need to do work in all of these through a project.
Have the right eye for detail and aptitude to learn and we'll help refine the skills you need to succeed.
Expectations Include:
- Show up on-time ready to work M-F - Reliable transportation to/from job sites (Cornelius, Carlton, McMinnville, Newberg) - Complete W-4 and I-9 - Lift and move 50 lbs - Be able to be on your feet all day - Take and follow directions - Attentive to detail - Work inside and outside in all types of PNW weather - Comfortable at heights and in crawlspaces - Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination - Knowledge of basic engineering and construction principles and methods a plus - Work in a team as well as individually Preferably, at least 3 year of construction experience, but the right attitude and a drive to learn the trades can make up for lack of experience.
Basic hand tools expected or a willingness to quickly procure some as you see what's needed.
Power tools and specialty tools provided.
Bring your own boots and gloves.
Pay will be based on prior experience and demonstrated handiness during a trial period Job Type:
